    Okay.. stupid question time.

I've configured a default tagline in the SCFG network settings under QWK networks, but I don't think the tagline is being applied. I know this question has been asked many, many times in the past but I can't seem to find it on the InterWeb...

So... what exactly am I missing? I know it's something stupid and obvious, but that's exactly WHY I can't find it.

Thanks in advance for your assistance...

Well this message had a tagline. Is that the right one?

    it may be a FAQ?

you don't see it locally because it is added to the messages when they are exported... the QWK (and FTN) tosser doesn't rewrite the messages in the base when it adds the QWK tag and FTN origin lines like some others do...

Yes, indeed it IS the correct one. Guess it's working after all.

Good enough. Was hating the feeling that I was missing something obvious, at least now I know what I was missing.

Local users never see their own tag/origin lines. These are added when the message is exported. You have to look on another system to check.
