I had to do a copy of all my current data for the BBS
to backup directories, then did a fresh install of
Synchronet. Then, I moved the backup data to the
appropriate directories, and the doors are all working
again.
Concerning REP packets, with the install of SBBS, I
found the old docs on how to put PKZIP/PKUNZIP in, and
the REP packets are now being processed.
The only issue now is that every so often, some
incoming packets are marked as "bad". I may have to
see if the hubs can send me "uncompressed packets".
You don't want to use the 16-bit versions of PKZIP/UNZIP. The 32-bit version (e.g. 2.50) for Windows would be *okay* to use, if setup correctly, but the preferred setup is to use Info-ZIP, as I've said before.

Are we talking about FidoNet or QWK?

Unfortunately, both.
There is no option for uncompressed QWK packets.
There is no option for uncompressed QWK packets.
I'll either just do it with FTN, or just have to ignore those.
also check your logs for the QNET events... they'll tell you why the
QWK is being renamed to .bad...
Rob,

Or fix the issue?

That'll have to be at the hubs, to get me uncompressed FTN PKTs.
