From Zip@VERT/SCBBS to All on Friday, June 19, 2020 12:47:00
    Hello everyone!

Just "joined" my Mystic BBS to DOVE-Net via Vertrauen and hoping this message reaches you all correctly. :-D

Not sure how well Mystic handles all things QWK, but I guess we'll see.

I have enabled QWKE format (as Mystic seems to allow for it in its uplink configuration) to hopefully get as much metadata as possible.

Does anyone know whether the "Include UTF-8 Characters" QWK setting
should be enabled at the QWK hub? Sounds like the most transparent choice to enable it (any "mangling" on the receiving end should be done on the
    receiving end)...

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards

I have it running in a buster docker container - compiled OK, but probably needed some help.

So I had another go at this, and it turns out it was my CPU.

I use docker, so I was compiling on a Xeon but using on an AMD G-T40E and it was core dumping with an illegal instruction.

So I recompile on the AMD (took a lot longer), but no core dump... Not sure the reason, but its the first time for me that a compiled app was coredumping.

TL;DR, Synchronet appears to work fine on buster.
