    Hi there... I am trying to get my WINS BBS up and running again, I had
    used it for years and took a small break from it. Anyway, I use to use
    a program, created by Santronics, called IFTP. I have had this for
    years and use to use it back in the day when we use to get mail via
    FTP... prior to binkp.

    Anyway, something is not right!!! I'm not sure if it's a program issue
    or... ahhh shit it cannot be me.

    Anyway.... can someone tell me how to use my native Windows 10 ftp
    client to log in to vert to get my QWK mail.... ftp dove.synchro.net and
    then pass my user name and password. I think I have the put and get
    commands down...

    You'll want to check if there was a packet to fetch or not.

    Also, if you're logged on via telnet/rlogin, the QWK packer won't create a message packet.

    Well, check the result code. It'll return a different 3 digit code if there's a packet or not, I assume.

    I fixed it, took google, there was a packet but the script file I was
    using wasn't working. BTW, these were script files that used
    Santronic's IFTP program that I had used for years and years. I changed
    to using the native windows 10 FTP program... and if there is a packet
    it downloads it.

    I am not sure what broke my old way of doing things... but new way works
    fine.
