• Help setting 8 lines screen length?

From Simulant@VERT/AMSTRAD to All on Thursday, August 13, 2020 12:41:57
Hi I have a small portable machine with 8 lines screen terminal, and some of my BBS users also have this device (Amstrad NC100).

Is there a way to set 8 lines display screen length on Synchronet? We've tried with the L command on the Default User Config menu but even when I type 8, it just sets it to 10 which seems to be the minimum.

    Thanks for any help :)

The minimum number of screen rows actually is hard-coded to 10 (just as a sanity check), but I'll happily lower that to 8, no problem.

That would be a great help thank you - on the portable 10 is just about workable but 8 would make using the BBS much easier without missing anything on the screen. Thanks again! How do I go about upgrading so that is in my installation too?
