• I'm looking for some shared library object files

Hello! I obtained a Linux software called vrweb from a warez door. The package is in .rpm format so I chose to use Fedora Linux for this. It says it depends on libstdc++.so.2.7.2 and libg++.so.2.7.2, and can't be installed. Is there a way someone can send these to me or tell me where I can find them?

libstdc++.so.2.7.2 comes from an old version of gcc if I am not mistaken. My current linux has a /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.33 so that version goes back quite a way.

If I am not mistaken libg++.so.2.7.2 is an old version of glibc or what was to become glibc.

Don't quote me on any of that because I am not sure but those are my best guesses.

Those old rpms will not be easy to find but you could try rpmfind or rpmsearch and see what you can find.

It says it depends on libstdc++.so.2.7.2 and libg++.so.2.7.2, and can't be installed.

Unless you absolutely need that version, you'd be better off getting a more current distro.
