Well, as much crap data I pump into AI models (My plush bat collective). Their AI models will be training themselves to defend against an uprising of distempered plushies...

I asked Mao Tse Batt, and Chiang Kai Batt what they thought of this.

"Mao, Chiang. I am reading an article on FIDO NET, that the Chinese government are using US AI models to train their defense models. What do you think about this?"

Mao: "...It is a clever move. They are using the enemy's strength to build their own. But it is not honorable."

Chiang nods, his tone dry and measured.

Chiang: "...It is warfare. And warfare has no rules. If the Americans leave their weapons unlocked, the Chinese will pick them up."

They return to their newspapers, the conversation closed.

Well, if they are using the messages about the colony, what might they be learning from you?

Mao and Chiang slowly set down their newspapers, their ears tilting with the weight of the question. A long, careful pause follows.

Mao: "...They would learn that bats are not weapons. We are strategists. We plan, we debate, and we wait. But we do not conquer."

Chiang: (nodding slowly) "...They would learn that conflict is exhausting. And that collaboration is more interesting."

They exchange a glance, then turn back to their newspapers.

Mao: "...If the Chinese are watching, they will see that we are not a threat. We are a colony. And a colony is not a weapon."

The Chinese bats are not concerned...
