There are no more "Nab" star-systems either, except for lowercase Mark Lewis who is largely quiet and do not believe there is a domain for.

Not true, the Filegate system never stopped functioning, Vince Coen has bee running it for some years now while Janis still held the domain. Before Jan passsed away she was going to take over running the Filegate but that didn' happen because of cancer issues most likely but it's not really relevant, t point being the Filegate is still functioning but without a domain.
Not true, the Star System is and has been functioning for a number of years with the same five nodes.
Maybe I am wrong but your comments come over as a hijacking attempt of the Filegate as you know it is a file distribution system with all files going through a core node who manages the file areas.

It's more to do with what your system doesn't do in this case and that is NOT the coordinator of Filegate, it's NOT the central file hub and does NOT create and distribute the monthly list of file areas.

Why did you bring up "stars" and Mark Lewis anyway? Orginal message was abo a link to your system for Filegate which I disagreed with as the link wasn about Filgate. BTW, I checked and the filegate domain is still held by Jani which is why probaly why Vince doesn't host it.
Irrelevant having a domain is not an issue, most fidonet nodes have a domai Remember a Zone coordinator is only a nodelist clerk so there is no need to coordinate witth you.
