    Gentlemen,

    Let's tone it down a bit ... I merely asked for a link satisfying the requirement for one to get a working entry in the fidonet.org-pages.

    It is very simple, one will be provided or not. Either way, the entry will be updated to show that reality.

    As Vince Coen is the present Filegate coordinator he should decide if he wants to run the web site, since the filegate.org is still held by Janis and we
    don't know when it will be available I am willing to pay for the filegate.info domain to replace it. I will drop Vince an email and CC you on this proposal.

    My point is this is about fidonet.org ... any discussion about the filegate can be discussed in a filegate echo, if one exists because I can't find it.

    In the meantime I'm still awaiting Vince's suggestion for a viable link.

    I will be looking at this BUT I am not a web designer in any way so like my hosting for my own site it will be very basic.

    In any event, I have now reached 79 years as of 23 June so it would be an idea for one or more persons a lot younger to act as back up for myself for Filegate, The ELIST / BACKBONE systems and possibly as reserve for UK host.

    .. and no I am reasonably healthy but death waits for no one :(
