From Allen Prunty@1:2320/100 to Ward Dossche on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 17:36:51

The question that interests me is "What happens at oF?" .... putting the freezing point at 0o seems logical enough, but why is 32oF = 0oC ?

    No 0 isn't 0 in K F C or whatever.

    32deg F = 0deg Celcius
0deg Kelvin = -273.15deg Celcious (aka absoulte zero)
0deg Celcius (Freezing point of water) = 491.67deg rankine
0deg Kelvin as absoulte zero = 0Deg Rankine

SO not all zeros are equivalent.

KFC promised me a spicy-zinger chicken sandwich.

I got no value at all. Zero... 0.

And what do the zeroes then do?
