    If you are the hub for a network, which node do you set as the '-def' entry for the echo entries for that network? Do you have to set one at all if you are the hub?

    I didn't have -def set for the longest time and then I added it. I'm not sure it changed much of anything other than what is output in tparser.

    I added -def to the first & main uplink for that echo, e.g:

    EchoArea MIN_CHAT /path/to/area -g C -a 618:400/1 618:618/1 -def 618:400/25

    When I run tparser, I see:

    So now the main node I receive messages from for this area is the "defLink" for this area.

    It looks like it's really only used for AdvancedAreafix which would let your hub delete the area from your system. I don't have AdvancedAreafix enabled for any node, so -def really doesn't service a purpose.

    That is sort of what I thought -- that it was only for AdvanceAreafix -- but wasn't sure if I could just leave it off. Sounds like I can. Thanks!
