The thing is, if you have a bad connection, you have no idea where they are in that rotation. I don't check into that net when that person is net control.
Not quite sure what your saying (must be a bad connection :D )
but if your referring heavy QRM/N, it doesn't matter what
format the net's using, it falls to NC to decide who's next.
If your referring to joining a round-robin net after its begun,
NC'll add you to the end of the list and let you in soon as it
gets to you.
They feel it's a crime or mortal sin if they miss checking into a net...so they have to try to check into every net in existence that day or evening. These are what I call "Hi, Bye, and QSY DS> checkins".
That's a supposition, but I do see a lot of "Hi, bye"s on
traffic nets. I never got that. If you don't have any
traffic, why check in? I've heard TNs that get maybe 10
check-ins, and nobody has traffic, so the net ends. There's 10
min. wasted.
