• 1172 update revision note

From Vincent Coen@2:250/1 to All on Saturday, June 20, 2026 15:04:29
    Hello everybody!

I am not updating the latest releases to the sourceforge website as I have been
removed from the authorised list of persons to do so.

So, will only be released by me via Fidonet file facilities.

    Vincent

Your access was removed because you release broken code which we have to clean up, your lastest faux pas being a prime example.

Congrats, you just released untested code. 1.1.7.2 is a test version that Andrew wasn't planning to hatch. He was going to wait until he finished with Rocky Linux support and a couple of other things and then will release 1.1.8.

So congrats, you just shot Andrew and me in the foot by releasing code THAT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE RELEASED.

You NEVER coordinated with us--hell, you never asked--and just did it your own damn self, courtesy be damned.

Yet you whine why you were removed from the dev team? Now you know and so does everyone else.

So go ahead, release untested, possibly broken code and ruin the dev ream's reputation because of your own self-serving needs.

I have been testing for some time and not found any issues.
