PublicMobile discontinuing 3G

A friend using an Xcover Pro (circa just 2020) got a message from PublicMobile that his device will nolonger work on 3G. We think that this might be a marketing ploy to panic users (even if their phones support LTE) to switch to the upper tier Telus. The 3G change is taking place in March 2027.
