That's not quite true. It does not protect against KNOWINGLY defaming, fraud, etc. That's why the media is really good at using "alleged" or "authorities think...", etc.

If the media can no longer spread propaganda, they will no longer receive money from the Elitists and the media as we know it will die a well deserved death.

So if Obama had anything to do with that, then he gets to add "Defended free speech" to his resume, plus any other lies he wants to throw in.

Osama still thinks he's above the law. I don't think it will be too far in the future where he will find out that he's not.

I'm reading about it now. It was sponsored by an apparent rino from Texas Mac Thornberry (no longer in office) and a Democrat rep from Washington (still in office.)

Just like all Democrat efforts, it sounds like it does the opposite of what it was advertised to do, judging by what we've been seeing in the media for the past 9 years.

Of course. That's just par for the course. They put a nice sounding name on things that are good for them, but bad for the Country so that no one actually looks at it too closely.

The Media was always Left-leaning, but once the Act was "modernized" they could finish their transformation into the Propaganda Ministry that the Left wanted.
