Connect the dots. Do you see the problem with this?
I went to a board meeting last night and a city councilwoman excoriated them in their faces, then I did, then my wife did, then an education
major from the local university did the same, all for different but
valid reasons. It's so f'n ridiculous I can't even laugh about it
anymore.

But school board is usually an elected position. So why not vote them out?
But now we have the real reason idiots get elected: Everyone smarter
than them are already doing real jobs and don't have the time. The only people who run for school boards are the useless, ignorant Elitists who, literally, can't do anything productive.

Those elections aren't held on election day, and the only way to find
out about them is by word of mouth. If I can find the bottom of my list
of complaints I'll add that to it.
That's the case with all elections. It's rare to see an intelligent
person run for office.

Ya, that's something we need to fix across the board.
Career politicians are bad. But no one who wants to be a representative is also bad.

My wife thinks that our rep (Josh Riley D-NY) is an undercover patriot because he has ties to pro-Israel lobbying groups, but I doubt it. He didn't need a Democrat label to get elected, so therefore he's wearing
a badge of dishonor.

Especially now. The "Democrat" brand is toxic.

I've always enjoyed butting-in to leftists' conversation to say "I
can't support a Democrat because my dad served in the military."
Now, with all this "Starve the military" crap that Democrats are doing,
it puts even more meaning into it when I say that phrase.

My stand is usually "I can't support a Democrat because I can think for myself and I PAY taxes."

The mistake we're both making is we're giving them things to think
about but they're incapable of thinking. We need to say to them through
a television broadcast.
I thought just flashed through my head: In the Lord of the Rings, when Sauron is defeated, the Orcs didn't have anyone to control them, so they just wandered around, etc.
Imagine what the Leftists would be like if deprived of their TV and
social media for more than a day. :)

It would be weird for them and enjoyable for me. "How's your day
going?" would be a tough question for them to answer.
