We need them to be more strict to prevent things like:

* Racially segregated school field trips
* Allowing colleges to refer to themselves as "Historically black."
* Skin colored voting districts
* The Black Caucus

There are already laws against these. But the Left won't enforce them, or they warp the meanings of words so they can claim that the law does not apply.

* Use of phrases like "black community"
* Use of the N-word on broadcast television

Those are just virtue signalling and propaganda. And protected under the First Amendment.

Republicans are missing an opportunity by not taking action against all this stuff.

Here's something. I was watching the election play out and I saw a video of Rudy Giuliani was talking. Rudy was asked if he supported Cuomo like Trump and Rudy said NO!!! He said he endorsed Curtis... He said you shouldn't change your stance on things because they don't look good.

He talked about Barry Goldwater's failed attempt in the 60s and you shouldn't have changed parties and views because he failed.

Same here...

If I was living in NYC I would have voted for Curtis... If I only have a choice between Cuomo and Mamdani I would have sat things out.

Michigan pulled that some years ago. There was a ballot measure to change the way auto insurance worked. It was resoundingly voted down. But 2 months later, the legislature did it anyway.
