    I saw the comment near the top of games.ini that says to edit games.local.ini; I wondered if I should add other games there for my system. Do you think it would still be okay to add some entries to games.ini for the repository?

    It's fine to add entries the games.ini in the repository, but they should be tested (e.g. vouched for) - this file more than just a rom zip -> name mapping.
