    Sunday will be a wet, grey day across Connemara with rain affecting all areas, heaviest and most persistent along the coast from Cleggan to Letterfrack where rain is likely through much of the day. Dense overcast conditions will dominate the morning before some brightening develops during the afternoon, though cloud will remain thick. Patchy light fog will affect coastal areas in the afternoon, with more persistent fog in sheltered inland valleys early on. Temperatures will struggle in the cool, damp conditions, reaching only 15-16?C on the islands and exposed western coasts, 16-18?C along most coastal areas, and 18-20?C inland around Kylemore and Oughterard. Winds will be fresh and gusty from the west-southwest initially at 16-18 kph gusting to 27-33 kph, before veering northwest through the afternoon and gradually easing.

    Tomorrow night will see conditions gradually improving as cloud breaks up and rain clears away. Skies will transition from mostly cloudy to partly cloudy by midnight with patchy light fog developing after midnight in some areas, particularly inland. Temperatures will fall to 12-14?C. Winds will ease considerably, dropping from northwest at 13-17 kph with gusts to 28-31 kph early evening to just 5-11 kph after midnight as high pressure begins to build in from the west.
